Chapter 3 Differentiation Rules
This chapter introduces the efficient rules for calculating the derivatives of functions, and some basic applications in various scientific areas.
Note that we omit Section 11 on Hyperbolic Functions, which is instead covered in MATH 220, Calculus 2.
By the end of this chapter, you should be able to answer all the True-False Quiz Questions and all the Concept Check Questions except 2(o–t) in the Chapter 3 Review.
